Raytheon DTE Technician Sr Field Engineer I in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Operates and maintains the Patriot Transmitter Tank Test Stations and Cooling System. Performs acceptance testing, burn-in, troubleshooting and repair of the transmitter modulator high voltage power supply driver and final tanks. Functionally verifies the operational condition of modulator high voltage power supplies evacuated for repair. Troubleshoots unserviceable tanks and isolates faults (s) to the lowest replaceable level. Replaces and/or repairs the unserviceable part (s), tests and returns the Unit Under Test (UUT) to serviceable stock. Participates in on-the-job training programs. Identifies faulty work practices and demonstrates proper maintenance, troubleshooting and repair techniques and procedures. Prepares and submits maintenance reports and System Problem Reports (SPR’s). Performs other duties as directed. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Required Skills: A minimum of 2 years hands on knowledge and experience operating, maintaining and sustaining PAT 243, PAT 244 and PAT 247 test stations. Demonstrated experience working on Configuration 2 and 3 system assemblies and subassemblies. Experience working in and with a Middle East customer directly. Knowledge and experience in maintaining and sustaining DTE test station equipment. U.S. Citizenship required. Desired Skills: Experienced field engineer with military training in Patriot Configuration II/III Air Defense systems at the organizational level. Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include system integration and checkout. Knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of Remote Launch Communication Upgrade (RLCEU). Fiber Optic/ RF cable troubleshooting and repair. Understanding and knowledge of military communications systems and encryption devices. Experience working and communicating with a Middle East customer. R6Sigma Certified. Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years of experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience. 88471
