Vinnell Arabia AFSS Property Book Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsible for: Administering property control management to ensure continual equipment accountability IAW DoD, FMS Saudi, and Vinnell Arabia regulations and utilizing an IMS and IMOPS of government and contractor property.
A. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer supply chain management, including requisition and inventory of property book type items
Maintain 100% accountability of all supplies. Equipment and supply records under his control
Signs property records and conducts regularly scheduled and cyclic equipment inventories as directed.
- Coordinates equipment transfers, additions and deletions with customers and coordinates equipment deliveries
Maintains sub hand-receipts files for equipment issued to individuals and units.
Manage ordering, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of major end items, spares and consumables;
Manage the organization's forecast planning function using inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to estimate output; work with OEM and customers to determine optimal inventory levels
Properly dispose/recycle items beyond economical repair (BER), surplus or obsolete equipment IAW DoD regulations and local regulations
Conducts property audits, researches and resolve discrepancies prior to reporting equipment as lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed to the accountability officer.
Prepare and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure proper documentation for accuracy
Operate and input data to manage accountability of property data in the IMS.

A. Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Post-Secondary Education (i.e. Associate’s Degree) or military training preferred.
B. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of broad-based experience in the fields of property book management, supply, distribution, and warehousing required.
*C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: *
Former US Army NCO (MOSs 92Y, 92Z) preferred.
Property Book Management Experience (U.S. Army preferred)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Ability to work swiftly and accurately, plan ahead and under pressure.
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner
