Vinnell Arabia Maintenance Division Training Lead in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsible for: Aviation on the job training (OJT) for the Aviation Maintenance Division supporting three aviation battalions and training requirements for AH-64, AH6i, UH-60, Back shops, ALSE and GSE. Develops training plans, curriculum, training aids use, training publications and courseware under the direction of the Aviation Maintenance Division manager. Directs division trainers in the use and standardization of training management systems. Plans and executes training and evaluation of customer maintainers in accordance with the customer requirements and US Army Aviation Training Manuals. Conduct academic and hands-on performance training and administer evaluations to ensure maintainers proficiency and standardization of training. Responsible for maintaining Individual Job Books, Automated Maintainer Training Files (TMS). Directly responsible for all aspects of training record keeping requirements and training reports for the division.
Will lead the Division Training OJT efforts. Manager the Training Management System (TMS) and facilitate the efficient execution of the following:
Tracking individual progress
Providing accurate and timely status reports
Recommending changes to improve performance and efficiencies of all training programs
Developing and maintain on the job training and TMS SOP.
Assists all trainers and course managers in meeting their program training requirements.
B. Independence: Reports to the Aviation Maintenance Division Manager. Broad range of independence and to conduct or develop training program within division management guidance.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: As required to prioritize and standardize all maintenance division trainer activity.
A. Education Level: Associate’s Degree
B. Experience: 3 years in training management. 5 years’ experience as Aviation maintainer or maintenance manager. It is preferred that applicant have experience in aviation maintenance field operations and completed a course of instruction for maintenance instructors at an authorized Aviation Proponent School or civilian equivalent. Former Aviation Quality or Production Control preferred. Experience as a platform instructor preferred. Experience within the last 2 years required.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Proficient with TMS, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to prepare various reports, charts, and other related documents.
D. Other: US Army Training Development Capabilities Course preferred, US Army Instructor Trainer Course preffered.
E.Possesses a valid driver’s license.
