Systems & Infra Material Scheduling Officer

Purpose of the Job

  • Execute Material planning and Inventory strategies in coordination with others SC teams and Project

  • Improve performance in term of material availability and cash management

  • As Work Package Owner (‘WPO’) on Procurement ensures successful Material Milestones passed through in co-design to achieve the agreed QCD Commitment for procurement Work Package

Internal: Supply Chain teams, Engineering, Finance, Operations/Project.

External: Suppliers, Logistics firms



  • Inventory in value and months of sales

  • Material planning efficiency (Missing parts measurement) follow-up KPI’s

  • PR/PO tracking file/ Time to PR

  • Follow up PMFU/Dashboard


  • Manage & develop Material planning team

  • Set up Inventory & batches delivery strategies based on Project strategy

  • Define material typology (based on ABC, variability,...) for defining planning tactics and to support project replenishment

  • Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation

  • Analyse Inventory content for correcting planning strategies

  • Participate to the Engineering Change committee – guarantee proper plan of material changes

  • Define and set-up parameters to implement material planning & batches strategies

  • Execute the improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction & maximize the cash

  • Execute Project Material planning based on Project strategy

  • Monitor the Parts Maturity Follow up in coherence with project progress

  • Anticipate the risk on Material delivery

  • Create Purchase request for the project

  • WPO for Procurement Work Package under his scope of responsibility

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering or Business management with around 3 years Supply Chain operational experience

Desired Knowledge / Experience

  • Operational experience within an international industrial company

  • Fluent in English and local language

Technical Skills & Competencies

Planning tactics, Inventory, Warehousing and Material management, MRP set-up (SAP), Finance
