The Boeing Company is seeking a paralegal to support its legal operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), as part of the Global Law Affairs group, Turkey/India/Middle East/Africa (“IMEA”).
The KSA Paralegal will report to the Business Manager for the Boeing Law Department and Boeing KSA Country Counsel, and will interface with a variety of Law Department attorneys and staff in regard to particular business unit or functional matters.
Accountabilities o Corporate. Coordinate with Boeing Corporate Secretary’s Office on substantive corporate secretarial activity within the KSA and the IMEA region. Develop substantive base of knowledge on requirements for governance activities across the region. Draft and review routine legal documents as appropriate.
o Research. Provide legal research from time to time using Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, and other legal research engines, as appropriate including legal research on Saudi law using Saudi government available resources.
o Regulatory. Review and develop understanding of national and regional regulatory regimes that will have an impact on the company. Understand U.S. and local regulations as well as internal procedures associated with the giving and accepting of gifts and gratuities to commercial and military persons.
o Drafting and Review. Draft and review contractual provisions, letters, memoranda and other written communications and agreement. Understand Boeing’s form contracts and local market requirements.
o OBIP. Support the KSA Country Counsel in providing legal and entity guidance for business opportunities in the One Boeing International Process (OBIP)
o Administrative. Assist in tracking matters and budgets, coordinating with business management team and outside counsel (as appropriate). Organize, track, and maintain Law Department files with attention to sensitive information. Support KSA Country Counsel on preparation of PowerPoint presentations and training materials. Manage Country Counsel’s calendar and meeting schedules. Manage and process Country Counsel’s travel and expense reports. Perform other administrative functions as required.
o Other GLA Support. Other projects as may be needed to support the GLA team in the IMEA or other regions in the administration of work supporting the Law Department generally and the business units and functions in their business activities.

The candidate should work well with others, clearly communicating requirements, expectations and deadlines, asking questions to obtain and share relevant information. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and must be able to prioritize activities and perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality, speed and accuracy. The candidate must work well in a team environment, including coordination with colleagues and clients in multiple time zones. The ideal candidate will have 4 years’ prior experience with an international company or law firm; an undergraduate legal degree or higher non-legal degree and/or paralegal education preferred. The candidate should have solid skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fluency in English and Arabic is required for this position (including fluency in legal and business language).
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
