Vinnell Arabia Platform Instructor (AH-6I) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Overview:

Responsible for: Conducts daily academic instruction on regulations, publications, aircraft systems and aircraft maintenance IAW approved Program of Instruction (POI). Creates and updates training records on course students when required and recommends administrative action IAW the MNG SOP. Conducts POI on practical exercises, training support, and after action reviews. Trains MNG AH-6I Mechanics how to perform aircraft maintenance tasks on the AH-6I as required using the specific OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Conducts training on removal and installation of aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Trains student how to service and lubricate aircraft systems, subsystems, and components; prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks; perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions; use common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures; perform aircraft and related components routine and special inspections; perform maintenance operational checks; diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required; and use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Ensures that all related maintenance training is conducted in a safe manner

A. Duties/responsibilities:

  1. Conduct daily academic instruction on topics to include regulations and publications, aircraft systems, and aircraft maintenance IAW course Lesson Plans (LP) and POI.

  2. Maintains training records on formal course students when required and recommends administrative action IAW the MNG SOP.

  3. Conducts POI practical exercises, training support and after action reviews.

  4. Conducts academic evaluations of students to ensure retention of training material.

  5. Assist with the update, development, and implementation of POI courseware and Lesson Plans (LP).

  6. Oversees the daily academic training to ensure compliance with approved UH-60M NET POI.

  7. Reports academic training deficiencies to the Team Lead for reporting to the Division Manager.

  8. Supervises individuals as assigned.

  9. Ensures all maintenance training activities are conducted in a safe manner.

  10. Other duties as assigned

B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: as assigned.

Qualifications:

*A. Education Level: *High school diploma required.

B. Experience:Three (3) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic on AH-6i Aviation Maintenance Technician required. Qualified by the appropriate USG armed force aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training required. Five (5) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic on AH-6I desired.

*C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: *

  1. Certificate: USG armed force aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training required.

  2. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.

  3. Demonstrated past performance providing academic or institutional instruction desired.

  4. Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance in UH60 Aircraft.

  5. Ability to communicate both orally and written.

  6. Successfully pass an overseas deployment Physical upon hire

  7. Ability to effectively deal with people in the supervision of staff and team members.

  8. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

  9. Possesses a valid driver’s license.
