IDC Sales Manager - Events and Conferences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
This position is created to fulfil IDC’s increasing focus on existing customers and developing new business contacts in KSA and Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will primarily focus on the sales and key account management of IDC's Conferences and Events portfolio.
Sales of IDC's conferences portfolio, which includes local and regional syndicated road shows and custom events.
Key Account Management of top customers and enhancing business opportunities from these accounts.
Supporting sales strategy and development within assigned territories
Cold-calling in order to generate demand; pipeline management;
Proposal development for syndicated and custom opportunities.
Developing prospects and client profiling: developing new contacts and identifying major decision makers.
The successful candidate shall be based in Riyadh and have minimum 5 years of local experience in Sales (preferably events to the ICT industry). He should have University degree and be excellent at establishing and managing relationships with customers and prospects.
He will also have or quickly be able to establish a network of contacts in the strategy/marketing departments of IT and telecom players across KSA and be adept at communicating, listening, interpersonal relationships, and negotiating.
Candidate should have an excellent command of English (Arabic will be a big plus)
Teamwork capabilities are fundamental. Flexibility, initiative, and problem solving are also required.
The candidate should be a dynamic and enthusiastic person geared towards commercial thinking and business opportunity, with self-confidence and the ability to work under pressure and cope easily with change.
