Vinnell Arabia Senior Trainer, General Supply Unit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Provides supply management training and assistance in all areas of supply to support the Commander, Logistics Management Control Center (LMCC) and staff. Assists the Supply Branch Section staff and warehouse personnel to improve efficiency in storage, issue and warehouse operations. Trains LMCC staff on SANG Supply System (SSS) procedures.
Provides technical and management assistance by training LMCC personnel on SSS or MNG Automated Logistics Supply System (ALSS) when fielded, related to requisition processes for Class II & IV.
Updates and /or develops Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) as required.
Trains and assists item managers to develop and use management reports.
Assists and trains LMCC Class II & IV Officer and staff on researching on-hand balances of stock in the warehouses.
Perform all other duties as required by Chief, Logistics Management Control Center Training Section (LMCCTS).
B. Independence: Acts under the general supervision of the Chief, LMCCTS with considerable latitude in choice of methods in accomplishing broad objectives.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: One (1) Assistant Trainer.
A. Education Level: High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Warrant Officer 920B – Supply System Technician, successful completion of the Warrant Officer Advance Course (WOAC), Senior Non-Commissioned Officer 92A – Automated Logistics Specialist and graduate of Senior Level Leaders Course, or logistics management course. Educational level may be substituted with experienced on higher level of automated logistics management operations.
B. Experience: Four (4) years’ experience in supply management operations. U.S. military supply storage or accounting operations in Supply Support Activity (SSA), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), or Material Management Center (MMC) experience preferred. Must have had assignments utilizing automation for management of a military designed supply data base with sufficient experience to facilitate prompt qualification on automation software.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, ability, and requirement: Knowledge of policies, principles, procedures and techniques of Class II and IV supply management. Knowledge of supervisory principles and techniques; ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Ability to deal effectively with people. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
