Responsible for: Manages the tool control program and tool room operations. Maintains accountability for all tool room assets. Issue and receipt of all tools, test sets, and other TMDE equipment assigned to the tool room. Provide other tool room operations and support as is outlined in the appropriate customer directives. Ensure all TMDE items bare the proper markings/labeling. Turn-in all TMDE items for calibration. Perform minor repair of general-purpose equipment. Receives, inspects, inventories, segregates, stores, issues, and turns-in organization and installation Tools.
Ensures that the tool maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated VA organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.
Responsible for the compliance with established tool maintenance systems, processes, procedures.
Establishes daily tool maintenance processes to achieve operational goals, objectives and priorities.
Oversees the daily tool maintenance management in support of the Aviation Maintenance Manager., works with PSI team to ensure tool calibration parts and spares.
Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards.
Reports to direct inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation tool maintenance to the Aviation Maintenance Manager.

A. Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
B. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of broad-based experience in the tool crib custodian, working with aircraft tools, property accountability, in support of aviation organization, required. 10 years desired. (Saudi National will be hired and provided OJT)
*C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: *
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of rotary wing Aviation operations inclusive of tool and calibration maintenance, Aviation logistics (to include package POL), flight operations and training.
USG or civilian equivalent training in corrosion prevention and control (CPC) programs or CPC representative for an organization.
Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation
Demonstrated past performance and experience working with aircraft tools, property/materials accountability, managing a calibration program for aviation related TMDE items, and employing corrosion control procedures
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
