Vinnell Arabia Vehicles/GSE Maintenance Senior Mechanic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Overview:

Responsible for Functioning as the GSE/vehicle Maintenance Senior Mechanic. Plans, schedules, and streamlines all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions. Participates in the coordination of the scheduling of vehicle and GSE equipment to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, mission and training requirements. Ensures all unscheduled maintenance actions for GSE and vehicles are performed in a timely manner. Assists in the streamlining of work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving maintenance operations and readiness. Under direction, provides technical and functional supervision over assigned GSE Maintenance Personnel Ensure established work standards and procedures are developed and adhered to.

A. Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and provide daily work assignments to GSE Maintenance personnel.

  2. Consistently reviews quality of work and makes recommendation in order to streamline maintenance actions.

  3. Develop and maintain a schedule for vehicle maintenance actions.

  4. Monitors the inventory of Repair Parts in the GSE Maintenance facility and makes recommendations for improvement.

  5. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards.

  6. Perform other tasks as assigned.

  7. Supports the Airfield Foreign Object Debris program.

B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to provide input to the Vehicle/GSE Maintenance Manager to assist with selecting and implementing goals and objectives within execution of duties and responsibilities.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the GSE Maintenance Personnel under the guidance of the GSE Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

A. Education Level:

  1. Civilian High School diploma or equivalent

  2. Vocational Training in Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) maintenance.

B. Experience:

  1. Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience at the journeyman level automotive repair.

  2. Must have been a supervisor in an AGSE Maintenance section for 5 years.

  3. Working knowledge of HAZMAT, AOAP and POL duties in a maintenance facility.

  4. Minimum of one-year experience in a supervisory role

C. Specific knowledge, skills, and ability:

  1. Knowledgeable in working with technical maintenance manuals.

  2. Ability to communicate in English.

  3. Possesses a valid driver’s license
