Eaton Corporation Field Service Engineer in SA-City, Saudi Arabia

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques and the ability to understand the customer’s electrical distribution system.

  • Ability to conducts hands-on work in a professional manner including mechanical repairs for medium and low voltage power circuit breakers.

  • Keep current with product technology and continue improvement of personal, technical and professional business skills in order to service products to the customer’s satisfaction.

  • Computer literacy using laptop provided and mastering all software relevant to successful performance of tasks.

  • Proficient at technical training and service techniques/skills required for broad based product servicing.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide service, deal with commercial situations and develop a customer following while representing the company interests to assure long-term customer relationships.

  • Maintain all service equipment including all test equipment and tools to meet specifications including calibration requirements, etc. in good working condition. Maintain sufficient spare parts to respond to standard calls if applicable.

  • Proficient in managing small projects or maintenance outages with proper execution to meet the financial implications of the project per corporate and business unit guidelines.

  • Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance and warranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation.

  • Ability to provide support to Sales Engineers and Negotiations Engineers for commercial negotiations.

  • Provide electrical field service for customers within the region on a flexible time schedule via phone or onsite consultation. Be available for 24-hour on call duty and respond to emergency situations with minimal notification.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (electrical, mechanical, electrical technology)

  • Experience: 3-5 years field service experience in power distribution.
