IHG Assistant Human Resources Manager at InterContinental Taif in Taif, Saudi Arabia


  1. Assists in ensuring all policies and procedures are in line with current legislation and keeps a breast of current trends and practises in the personnel field.

  2. Assists with the dissemination of information affecting employer - employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies and programmes.

  3. Contributes to the development of the department's goals, business plan and budget.

  4. Assists in the maintenance and review of personnel policies, procedures and practices, updating and /or recommending improvements as appropriate.

  5. Assists in the preparation of periodic reports for management's use in accordance with corporate and government requirements.

  6. Maintains and updates manual and computerized employee records, legal documents, policies and procedures and other personnel matters.

  7. Co-ordinates the Annual review and update of all the Job descriptions within each department.

  8. Assists with the induction and orientation of new employees in accordance with IHG guidelines.

  9. Contributes to the development of the hotel's sucession plan, including notifications and regional vacancy listings.

  10. Contributes to the development and implementation of improved methods of work and better utilization of staff in all areas.

  11. Monitors all employee facilities to ensure employee security and safety.

  12. Assists in ensuring all staff are aware of company benefits.

  13. Assists the training department of the hotel as required.


Education : College degree ( Hotel school, University and / equivalent )

Languages Required : English and Arabic essential

Experience : Sound background in Human Resources with a minimum of 5 years experience .

Personality / Appearance : Person all round management abilities, with particular strengths in communications, administration and influencing skills.
